have you ever heard of the HMS Beagle? this allegedly famous ship had charles darwin on it for one reason or another, and two of the three nerdosauruses on teen jeopardy knew it (the hold out being the girl whose newly blind dog taught itself to walk with a cane). :( i am just bitter because a couple on wheel of fortune won $132k tonight and i didn't. boo.
so, things are going well. work is fantastic! i called today to sign up for my 15% employee discount on my cell phone. tubular. i moved my desk on friday to move closer to my new boss, and now my computer screen is much more visible by co-workers so i am pledging a no-blog diet at work, but i will probably end up sneaking sooner or later. after work on friday shawn and i rented red eye (gooood, reaally) and the fog (zzzzzzzzz awful). saturday anna and i met up in the dux where we visited with kellz and christian and mrs. mylett. we watched the wedding video (awww), looked at wedding pics and framed sonograms, and went out for dinner at the windsor inn. then tyla came over so we left. ha!! anyway... kelly's having a boy!! isn't that exciting? i've heard that boys are easier. so yay, congratulations again, steverinos.
sunday shawn and i cut, painted and installed the baseboard in his room. well, mostly i cut while shawn measured and painted. even though i was a little doubtful about his design, the room looks awesome. he's going for an asian theme, with medium-red walls, white ceiling, beige carpet, and black edging--baseboard, border and corners. baby found some cool wall lamps that add to the look, and he's thinking about bamboo-y curtains. it's coming out great.
tonight i am chilling and tying to get my room clean. my rib hurts. sorry i am boring.
so much is coming up in the next couple of months, i'm excited. stay tuned. =P
